Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Kidlyoo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. What Kidlyoo is

Kidlyoo is a parental control Android app made by Nastrum AI. It lets parents curate the YouTube videos and Android apps their child can use, and operates in a kiosk mode that limits the device to that approved set during a session.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be the parent or legal guardian of the children whose profiles you create, or have authority delegated by the parent or guardian.
  • You must comply with applicable laws.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password secret.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • One person per account. Family sharing will arrive via the in-app multi-parent feature; until then, please do not share login credentials with people outside your household.

5. Acceptable use

Use of Kidlyoo is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: don't break the law, don't try to break Kidlyoo, don't reverse engineer, don't redistribute.

6. Subscription, billing and refunds

Kidlyoo has a free tier and a Premium tier.

  • Free tier: 1 child profile, up to 10 approved videos, all kiosk and lockdown features. Watermarked PDF reports. No card required.
  • Premium tier (when launched): $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year (save 50% with annual), billed via Google Play. Renews automatically until cancelled.

Cancel any time from Google Play - Subscriptions. Refunds follow Google's refund policy. For longer-tail issues, email [email protected] and we will work with you.

7. Content you provide

Videos and apps you approve are not submitted to Kidlyoo for hosting; they remain on YouTube or on your device. We do not claim ownership of the curation lists you build, but we need a non-exclusive licence to display them inside the app for your children.

8. YouTube terms

You and your kids must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service when watching videos through Kidlyoo. We do not override them.

9. Termination

  • You can stop using Kidlyoo and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when feasible.
  • If we wind down the service, we will provide at least 90 days' notice with an export of your video lists and settings.

10. Disclaimers

Kidlyoo is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that every escape attempt will be blocked on every Android phone in every state. Kidlyoo is a tool, not a substitute for parental supervision.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nastrum AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for direct damages is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50 if you paid us nothing.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nastrum AI and its officers, employees and agents from claims arising out of your misuse of Kidlyoo or violation of these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.
